Our Office

Our main office in Coeur d'Alene serves as the main base of operation. Everyone in the office is on a networked computing system. Home-care aides in the field also communicate with the same system via telephone.

The system gives everyone instant access to up-to-date information about scheduled and completed shifts. It also accommodates specialized billing needs of individuals, Trustees, insurance companies, and Medicaid.

Company History

August Home Health is the leading home-care agency in North Idaho. We opened our doors in 1991, as Community Health Services.

The name was changed in 1994. Back then we provided Medicare services, which we no longer do. Still, experienced nurses manage the business and we retain a clinical orientation toward client care.

In 2006 we acquired an agency in Bonners Ferry which enjoyed an equally high reputation for quality service. The acquisition gives us another outpost to better serve the northern communities.
